12 Days Kenya Wildlife & Beach Safari

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 0700 hrs to start your Kenya wildlife & beach safari. A safari briefing session with our tour officer then start the journey passing the majestic Mt. Kenya en-route to the open savanna of Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch at a camp then proceed for afternoon game drives .Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Morning and afternoon spent exploring the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colourful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.Dinner & Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

After breakfast our Kenya Bush & beach safari continues to Mt Kenya region to arrive the sweet waters tented camp in good time for lunch. Proceed for afternoon game photographing at Ol Pejeta sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters Serena tented camp _ optional night game drives to see the nocturnal animals can be arranged at an extra cost. Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area.

Our 3rd Safari destination on our Kenya wildlife & beach safari is Lake Nakuru national park. Breakfast then depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at a lodge inside the park. Lake Nakuru has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Depart soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch then proceed for evening game drives, we return to Tipilikwani Masai Mara or similar for dinner and overnight stay. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, jackal, hyena and vultures.Dinner & Overnight at Tipilikwani Mara Lodge.

2 full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5- Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. In the afternoon visit to the Maasai villages for children to learn their culture and their ways of life. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. Breakfast then do a morning game drive. After an early lunch you be dropped off at Ol Kiombo airstrip to board afternoon flight to Mombasa departing at 1400hr– on arriving Mombasa our representative will meet you and transfer you to Diani Reef to start your beach vacation

3 Days spent relaxing and swimming, sunbathing at the beach hotel. Water sports and excursions are available during your Dinner & Overnight at Diani Reef Hotel.

Morning spent at leisure (please note hotel check out is 10 am) thereafter you will be transferred to Diani airport to board Safarilink departing at 1530hrs arriving Wilson at 1730hrs.
